Plasma cutter – Linear guides, screws, belts, and cable chain

We decided to build our own CNC plasma cutter with a working capacity of 1000x2000 mm. For the construction, among other things, we needed several mechanical components. Tuli assisted us in selecting the appropriate components according to our requirements and thus we've bought round linear guides with support of size 16 and 20. Along with the shafts, we've used the SME linear bearings. A threaded screw and a nut were used as the drive for the transverse axis, while the T5 toothed belt and the associated components were mounted for the longitudinal axis. CPS energy chains are used to protect the cables. The machine works according to our expectations.
