Combined axial radial bearings

Combined axial radial bearings comprise a radial roller bearing combined with an axial bearing. These bearings can support both radial and axial loads with a single bearing and allow for a compact bearing size. Combined axial radial bearings are suitable, for example, where radial and axial loads are present and simple axial contact washers can no longer support axial loads due to their size, high speeds or inadequate lubrication, and other bearings require too much installation space.

Slewing ring bearings with a cross roller arrangement are suitable for supporting tilting moment loads. Due to the X-shaped roller arrangement, the bearings can support axial forces in both directions, radial loads, tilting moment loads and any combination of loads using a single bearing position. Cross roller slewing ring bearings are bearings for precision applications, dimensioned to ISO dimension series 18 according to DIN 616. They consist of outer rings, inner rings, roller elements and plastic spacers. The outer rings are split and held together by three retaining rings. Due to the X arrangement of the rolling elements, these bearings can support axial forces from both directions, as well as radial forces, moment loads and any combination of loads with only one bearing. Cross roller bearings are very stiff, have high rolling accuracy and have normal or reduced backlash, and can also be preloaded. The outer rings of the bearings can be quickly mounted on the structure by means of clamping rings. Rotating rings or slewing ring bearings are generally large size ball or roller bearings with very high load carrying capacity for oscillating movements and slow rotary movements.

Combined axial radial bearings for screw drives are double direction, high precision axial cylindrical roller bearings with a radial bearing component.
